Reva Nell Brown

1938 - 2021

Reva Nell Brown, age 83, of Glasgow, passed away on Thursday, January 6, 2022 in Glasgow. The Mud Lick, KY native was born on March 30, 1938 to the late Tommy Winfield Brown and Lee Edna Miller Brown. 

Reva was born with shortened arms which, with effort, can grip no more than a piece of paper. She learned to complete day-to-day functions with her feet. Reva began to draw cartoons, then progressing into landscape, animals and religious works. One of the highlights of Reva’s life was being a member of the Mouth and Foot Paint Association since 1982. She also attended Glenview Drive First Church of God.   

Reva is survived by her  nephew, Rondal Rex Brown; niece, Cornetta Hurt; great-nephew, Ken McKenney (Leslie) and great-niece, Lisa Ann Houchens (Paul). Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by companions, James Dugard and Charles Kinslow; brothers, Ivan Morris Brown and Rex Brown and niece, Laneda Brown McKenney.
