Lois Ann Bybee Poynter, age 82, of Cave City, departed this life on Saturday, May 9, 2020 at her home. The Tompkinsville, KY native was born on December 25, 1937 to the late Oscar G. Bybee and Ruby Doyle Hestand Bybee. She was married to the late Leon Poynter.

Ann was a member of the Cave City Church of Christ. She was a former owner of Cave City Truck Stop, Cave City Produce and retired from Ken-Dec Inc.

She leaves to honor her memory-- one daughter, Kim Allen (Brad) of Glasgow; four grandchildren, Michael Simpson, Trisha Franks, Aubree Allen and Landon Allen; one great-grandchild, Hadley Franks; four sisters, Virginia Pruitt (Paul) of Decatur, GA, Linda Holcombe (Dennis) of Atlanta, GA, Betty Tyler of Hendersonville, TN and Peggy Russell (Jim) West Palm Beach, FL. She  was  also preceded in death by one son, Jeff Poynter, and two brothers, Edsel Bybee and Bobby Bybee.

Interment will be in Cave City Cemetery.
