1967 - 2022
Kimberly Ann Poe, age 54 of Hopkinsville, departed this life on Wednesday, July 27, 2022 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green. The Christian County native was born on October 12, 1967 to the late Willis and Patty Hogan Duffer.
Kim had a heart of gold, cherished her family and was a caregiver by nature. She formerly worked as a registered nurse at Jennie Stuart Medical Center and Trigg County Hospital, and currently at Covington’s Convalescent Center. She was saved as a young girl at her aunt Lucille Madison’s house, and joined Poplar Spring United Baptist Church, where she remained a member until her passing.
She leaves to honor her memory-- her children, Karen Deering (Cody) of Wingfield, Karly Poe and Landon Hester, both of Hopkinsville; granddaughter, Lily Deering; sisters, Yevette Quick and Susan Duffer; nephew and niece, Philip Quick and Patti Duffer and her aunt, Phyllis Cummings (Jody).
Interment will be in Poplar Spring Church Cemetery.
