1947-2022

Jerry Gale Jones, age 74, of Glasgow, passed away on Wednesday, April 20, 2022 in Glasgow. The Barren County native was born on May 2, 1947 to the late Roy Christopher and Bessie Mae Lawrence Jones.

Jerry was a former truck driver for Scotty’s and Dollar General and was a farmer.  He attended Coral Hill Baptist Church.

He leaves to honor his memory— his children, Jeff Jones (Janet) of Smiths Grove; Annette Burton (Richard) of Smiths Grove and Sherry Scoggins (Shann) of Park City; siblings, Mike Jones (Ruth) of Smiths Grove; Peggy Beckham of Smiths Grove and Linda Rippy (Sammy) of Alvaton; ten grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; former wives and special friends, Bernice Maness and Ruby Pedigo.  Beside his parents, he was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Eddie Beckham.

Interment will be in Shiloh Baptist Church cemetery.
