David "Butch" Higginbotham

1953 - 2021

David Murl “Butch” Higginbotham, age 68, of Park City, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2021 at Signature Health Care of Glasgow.  He was born in Glasgow, KY on June 14, 1953 to the late Leslie and Margoline Lyons Higginbotham.   

Butch worked as a farmer, and also at Park Mammoth Resorts Stables as a trail guide. He was an avid rider and lover of horses. Butch served on the Rocky Hill Volunteer Fire Department for several years.

He leaves to honor his memory-- one brother, Phillip Higginbotham (Shirley) of Rocky Hill; three sisters, Delora Craine of Cave City, Sherry Johnson of Chalybeate and Juanita Pedigo of Glasgow; one sister-in-law, Mary Ann Higginbotham of Alvaton; several nieces, nephews and very dear friends, Ronnie Decker and family and Barry Stewart and family. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Jim and Doug Higginbotham; one infant sister, Theola Carol Higginbotham and one nephew, Steve Craine.

Interment will be in Rocky Hill Cemetery.
