Danny Childress, age 76, of Park City, Ky departed this life on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at his residence. The Hart County native was born on September 5, 1946 to the late George Thomas and Rachael Childress. He was married to Ann Childress, who survives.

Danny worked for many years on his farm, in construction, and was the former owner of D&M Guttering. He was a member of Little Flock Baptist Church.

Besides his wife, Ann, he leaves to honor his memory—his children, Marty Dale Childress and Melanie Childress both of Park City; five grandchildren, Mitchell Childress, Lauren Vincent (Eric), Hunter Brown, Dylan Childress (Courtney) and Logan Wells; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Edith Coates and Suzette Barrett (Rommie); brother-in-law, Winford Rigdon; sister-in-law, Ines Childress, along with several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by his siblings, Clevie and Larry Childress, Lorene Sanders and Joan Rigdon, and brothers-in-law, James Coates and Clement Sanders.
