Cordie L. Lindsey

1935-2020

Cordie L. Lindsey, age 85 of Shepherdsville, departed this life on Wednesday, February 5, 2020  at his residence. The Edmonson County native was born on January 7, 1935 to the late Lewis Lindsey and Annie Gross Lindsey. He was married to Laveana Decker Lindsey, who survives.

Cordie was the owner of Cordie Lindsey Roofing and was a member of Sunny Point General Baptist Church.

Besides his wife he leaves to honor his memory-- four sons, Rannie Lindsey (Kathy) of Louisville, Frankie Lindsey (Erma) and Jerry Lindsey (Nedra) both of Leitchfield and Keith Whobrey of Louisville; one daughter, Sherry Stewart (Eddie) of Leitchfield; two step daughters, Valina Page (Brad)  of Bee Spring and Becky Lindsey (Tim) of South; seventeen grandchildren; twenty six great grandchildren; three brothers, George Lindsey (Susan) of Leitchfield, Charlie Lindsey (Linda) and Willie Lindsey (Brenda) both of Bee Spring; three sisters, Cubie Frames of Hillview, Dorothy Clinton (George) of Elizabethtown and Reva Harp of Leitchfield.  He was also preceded in death by one son, Wayne Lindsey; three daughters, Teressa Sandlin, Debbie and Carolyn Lindsey and one great grandson, Kegan Lindsey.
