Arthur Thomas "Tom" Wilkerson
1939 - 2022
Arthur Thomas “Tom” Wilkerson, age 82 of Cedar Springs, departed this life with his family by his side on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at The Medical Center in Bowling Green. The Hart County native was born on September 9, 1939 to the late William Lawrence and Leona Sturgeon Wilkerson. He was married to his devoted wife and help mate of sixty –three years, Ruby Wells Wilkerson, who survives.
Tom was a farmer and served Edmonson County Fiscal Court for twenty-five years as district 3 magistrate. He was also a Kentucky Colonel and a member of Washington Meredith Masonic Lodge #355 F&AM and Cedar Hill United Baptist Church.
Besides his wife, he leaves to honor his memory-- two daughters, Donna Brooks and Doris Lindsey (Freddie) all of Cedar Springs; seven grandchildren, Clayton Wilkerson (Ashley), Jessica Simpson (Devin), Kent Brooks (Shaina), William Wilkerson (Gabby), Austin Lindsey (Savannah), Anthony Lindsey (Mattie) and Savannah Jean Lindsey; eleven great-grandchildren and three siblings, Paul Wilkerson of Merry Oaks, Richard Wilkerson (Ann) of Munfordville and Becky Jo Hester (Tommy) of Cub Run. He was also preceded in death by his son, Dale Wilkerson, granddaughter, Tonya Sue Geron, son-in-law, Willie Roy Brooks and two siblings, Woodson Ray Wilkerson and Linda Lee Wilkerson.
Interment will be in Lambert Cemetery.
