Wesley Garrett Duvall, age 26 of Brownsville, peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at his residence. The Edmonson County native was born on September 29, 1999 to JoAnna Holder Kyle and the late Darrell Lindle Duvall.
Wesley was a 2018 graduate of Edmonson County High School, and will be forever remembered for his warm smile and the happiness he brought to others. Saved as a young boy at Pleasant Union United Baptist Church and later baptized into Jock United Baptist Church, his faith was a quiet and meaningful part of who he was.
To know Wesley was to love him! He had a heart that overflowed with kindness and a demeanor that naturally drew people to him. His sense of humor was one of a kind—he had a special gift for impersonating and could bring laughter into any room, often when it was needed most. He treasured time spent with those he loved, whether it was watching college sports, playing cornhole, shooting pool, sharing stories and poking fun, laughing until it hurt, or simply just being together. Those moments, now precious memories, will forever be held close in our hearts.
He leaves to honor his memory– his parents, JoAnna and Tim Kyle of Chalybeate; brothers, Will Kyle (Madison) of Bowling Green and Trey Kyle (Harley) of Wingfield; beloved grandparents, Barbara “Bobbie” Holder of Pine Grove, Arnold Duvall (Gladys) of Bee Spring and Bill and Betty Kyle of Chalybeate; niece and nephews, Meredith, Walker and Tate Kyle; special girlfriend, Bailey Collins, along with several dear friends and extended family members whose lives were forever brightened by knowing him.
Besides his dad, Darrell, he was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Larry Dale Holder and Charlene Webb Duvall. Though his time here was far too short, Wesley’s life was full of love, laughter, and treasured connections. His presence was a gift, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
The interment will be in Poplar Spring Church Cemetery.
