W. Wood

W.L. Wood, age 73, of Bee Spring, KY, passed away Friday, March 16, 2012, at Medical Center at Bowling Green in Bowling Green, KY. He was a merchant for Wood Bro. Cee Bee Store, a member of Washington Meredith Masonic Lodge #355 F&AM and a Farmer.

The Edmonson County native was born December 2, 1938 to the late Alton Brooks Wood and the late Ethel Napper Wood.

He is survived by his wife: Brenda Wood; one daughter: Janet Wood Childress (Glenn), Mammoth Cave, KY; one son:

Kelly Wood (Companion, Wendy), Bee Spring, KY; two sisters: Leola Carroll (Randall), Bee Spring, KY, Rita Lindsey (Terry), Bee Spring, KY; two brothers: Larry Wood (Grace), Bee Spring, KY, Kenneth Wood, Plymouth, NC; five grandchildren: Christi Prewitt, Amy Childress, Lucas Wood, Lyla Rose Wood, Liam Wood; one great grandchild: Abby Prewitt.

Bro. Ernie Vincent and Bro. Clinton Decker officiating. Interment will be at Hubsfield Church Cemetery, Bee Spring, KY.
