Virginia Hope Brooks French, age 89 of Brownsville, passed away Thursday, March 22, 2007 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. She was born April 7, 1917 in Louisville, KY to the late William Jim and Ethel Brooks and married to the late William French, Sr. She was a homemaker and a member of Fairview United Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, Bill French, Jr. and wife Sharon of Brownsville; four daughters, Carolyn Hogan of Flarger, FL, Sherry Rippy and husband Chris of Bowling Green, Debbie Durbin of Brownsville and Donna French of Pig; five grandchildren, David Hogan, Shelly French, Angela Lawler, Ashley Durbin and Jena Johnson; four great grandchildren, Ashley Lawler, William Spencer Lawler, Austin Hogan and Deidre Lawler; one brother, James Clifford Webb. She was also preceded in deathy by one grandson, Jimmy Hogan. Services will be officiated by Bro. Rondell Blair with burial in the Poplar Spring Church Cemetery.
