Tomie Delilah Larimore, age 59, of Chalybeate, peacefully departed this life on Sunday, June 28, 2026, at the Hospice House of Southern Kentucky in Bowling Green. A lifelong resident of Edmonson County, Tomie was born on September 13, 1966, to the late Curtis and Cleo Decker Duvall. She shared a beautiful life with her beloved husband and best friend, Don Larimore, whose love and devotion remained steadfast throughout sickness and in health.

Tomie dedicated many years of her career as a bookkeeper and office manager for Creek Sod Farms, along with multiple other businesses, where her strong work ethic, dependability, and caring nature earned the respect and admiration. She was saved on December 29, 1976, and became a member of Jock United Baptist Church, where she faithfully worshipped until she moved her membership to Brownsville General Baptist Church. Her kind and compassionate spirit reflected the love she carried in her heart and the faith that guided her life.

Tomie had a rare gift for making others feel valued. She never met a stranger and welcomed everyone with a warm smile, a heartfelt hug, and genuine kindness that left a lasting impression. She found great joy in celebrating the Christmas season, cherishing both its traditions and the true meaning of Christ's birth. She delighted in searching for the best bargains, making treasured trips to the mountains, and creating special memories with those she loved. Above all else, Tomie's greatest joy was her family. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart, and she cherished every opportunity to spoil them, laugh with them, and surround them with unconditional love.

Besides her husband, Don, she leaves to honor her memory— her beloved sons and their wives, Rex Booth (Shannon) of Cadiz and Jody Booth (Haley) of Chalybeate; step-daughter, Korinda Larimore of Owensboro; her precious grandchildren, Lilah, Lola, Kamdyn and Lachlan Booth; sister, Deneece Cunningham; mother-in-law, Alta Louise Greer; niece and nephews, Amanda Thomas (Shane), Curtis Vincent (Erin) and Steven Vincent (Brittany), along with several other nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Darrell Curtis Duvall.

The interment will be in Jock Church Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to: Hospice of Southern Kentucky.
