1952 - 2022

Teresa Sanders, age 69 of Alvaton, departed this life on Sunday, February 27, 2022 at her daughter-in-law’s residence.  The Warren County native was born on November 3, 1952 to the late Carlos B. and Lorene Wilson Sanders.

Teresa retired from Abbott Labs as a production operator, and was a member of Boiling Springs General Baptist Church.

She leaves to honor her memory-- her companion, Tom Dencklau; her son, Richard Carl Hooten, II; daughter-in-law, Emily Torok; five grandchildren, Ellia Cohee, Aidan Hooten, Jachin Cohee, Samaria Cohee and Hannah Cohee; seven siblings, Beverly Taylor, Sue Suddarth (Jimmy), Judy Smith, Melinda Baker (Mike), Debbie Stice, Donna Sanders and Lester Sanders (Machell) and a sister-in-law, Myra Sanders.  She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Ronald and Richard Sanders.

Interment will be in Otter Gap Church Cemetery.

At the family’s request, all services will be private.
