Sharon Kay Sanders Ashley, 62, of Brownsville, KY departed this life on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at her residence. The Edmonson County native was born on October 22, 1952 to the late Rex John Sanders, Sr. and the late Teresa Evanell Higdon. She was married to William Frank Ashley, who survives.
She was a laborer at Eaton Corporation and a member of Fairview United Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband, she leaves to honor her memory— two sons, James Trenton Sanders (Jenny Sue) of Bowling Green and Shane Dillon Ashley of Brownsville; one daughter, Jennifer Lynn Rumsey (Gabriel) of Bowling Green; one brother, Rex John Sanders, Jr. of Grayson Springs; one sister, Donna S. Brown (Thomas) of Shelbyville; four grandchildren, Jessica Branstetter, Zepplin Sims, Robert Hogan, Jr. and Gabrielle Rumsey and one great-granddaughter, Lily Bre Branstetter. She was preceded in death by one sister, Wanda Faye Sanders.
VISITATION
There will be a private visitation with cremation to follow.
