S.C. Denton
S.C. "June Bug" Denton, Jr. passed away Saturday November 14, 2009 in Hart County.
He was born March 26, 1922 in Barren County to the late Simon Cidney Denton and the late Georgia Ann Beshear Denton and married to the late Celesta Jean Brown Denton.
He was a retired warehouseman for Holley Carberator, World War II Marine Veteran, former Park City Mayor and Park City Police Chief, a member of Cave City Baptist Church, Cave City Masonic Lodge #790 F&AM and the D.A.V.
He is survived by his daughter Frieda Lyons (Bobby) of Glasgow; four grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one son, Ron Denton.
No visitation or services where scheculed. The family has chosen cremation.
