Obituary

Listen to Obituary

Robert Duncan Webb, age 84, of Louisville, peacefully departed this life with his loving family by his side on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at his residence. The Edmonson County native was born on January 21, 1942, to the late Edwin and Addie Johnson Webb. He was united in marriage to his devoted wife and best friend of fifty-six years, the late Eurbana Seabolt Webb, with whom he shared a life filled with love, faith, and devotion.

Robert proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy before dedicating many years of hard work as a welder at Falls City Machine Technology, where he later retired. On February 1, 1981, he humbly gave his heart to the Lord and was gloriously saved, a life-changing moment he treasured as the greatest blessing and most precious gift he ever received. From that day forward, his faith became the foundation of his life. He was a faithful and devoted member of Pond Creek Missionary Baptist Church, where he lovingly once served as song leader, clerk and currently as a deacon, and held a deep and abiding love for his church family. Robert never hesitated to share how thankful he was for the day the Lord saved him, and his gratitude was evident in the way he lived—with humility, kindness, and a sincere love for others.

Robert was known as a good and kind-hearted man whose gentle spirit and warm nature left a lasting impression on all who had the privilege of knowing him. His life revolved around his steadfast faith, his church, and the deep love he shared with his beloved wife, Eurbana, until the Lord called her home on February 11, 2017. Though they were never blessed with children of their own, they poured their love into their nieces and nephews, cherishing them dearly and loving them as if they were their own.

He leaves to honor his memory— his sister, Christine Vincent of Brownsville; in-laws, Jeanette Seabolt of Roundhill, Randall Seabolt (Joyce) of Indianapolis, IN, Tommy Seabolt (Barbara) of Brownsville, John Seabolt (Patty) of Vine Grove, Juanita Minton (Richard) of Chalybeate, Nola Reynolds (David) of Cedar Springs and Emma Miller (Larry) of Alvaton, along with several nieces and nephews. Besides his wife and parents, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Delaine Webb, and in-laws, Coy Vincent, Dillard “Dee” and Dempsey Seabolt, Buck and Mae Seabolt, Ersie and Tommy Cherry, Versie and Mendell Parker and Dallas Seabolt.

The interment will be in Hawkins Cemetery with graveside military honors by the Nesbit Alexander Memorial Post #6937 VFW.

Memorial contributions may be made to: Pond Creek Missionary Baptist Church or Hawkins Cemetery Fund.
