Rev. Walter "Bob" Vincent, age 87 of Mammoth Cave, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green. He was born May 6, 1920 in Ollie to the late John Thomas Vincent and Ida Mae Decker Vincent and married to the late Gladys Hester Vincent. He was a World War II Army veteran, a farmer, a school bus driver for Edmonson County Schools and a member of Ollie United Baptist Church. He is survived by two sons Ray Vincent and wife Donna of Mammoth Cave and Billy Vincent and wife Marcella both of Mammoth Cave; three daughters, Patricia Carroll and husband Karl Conrad of Louisville, Terisa Anderson and husband Donnie of Brownsville and Alisa Hogan and husband Ellis of Owensboro; one brother, Paul Vincent and wife Jane of Mammoth Cave; four grandchildren, Christy Richardson, Chasity Livingston, Billie Jean Cross and Jason Eugene Vincent and seven great grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by one son, Rodney Vincent and one grandson, Shawn Sanders. Services will be officiated by Bro. Roy Hogan with graveside military rites by Nisbet Alexander Post # 6937 V.F.W. with burial in Ollie cemetery.
