Raymond Hayes

Raymond W. Hayes, age 91 of Bee Spring, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2007 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green. The Edmonson County native was born August 14, 1915 to the late William Hayes and Julia Metcalfe Hayes and married to the late Maxine Ashley Hayes. He was a World War II Navy veteran, a past member of Washington Meredith Masonic Lodge #355 F&AM and a member of Bee Spring Missionary Baptist Church. He is survived by one son, Charles Hayes and wife Marilyn of Sweeden; one daughter, Peggy Priddy and husband Steve of Bee Spring; four grandchildren, Danny Hayes of Brownsville, Jeff Hayes of Louisville, Cindy Vincent of Marion, IL and Anna Leigh Powell of Hardinsburg; three great grandchildren, Chelsye and Justin Vincent of Marion,IL and Joshua Noah Powell of Hardinsburg. He was also preceded in death by one son, Alan Hayes. Services are being officiated by Bro. Jerry Patton with graveside military rites by Nisbet Alexander Memorial Post #6937 VFW.
