Patricia Ann Browning Carroll

Patricia Ann Browning Carroll, age 83, of Brownsville, peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, at the Edmonson Health Care Center in Brownsville. The Edmonson County native was born on December 26, 1941, to the late Berthel and Callie Skaggs Browning. She was married to Elba D. Carroll until they were parted by his passing on September 10, 2015.

Patricia was a warm and caring homemaker who always put her family's needs first. Nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with them! She loved getting creative with scrapbooking and enjoyed the challenge of working on puzzles, especially Sudoku. Most importantly, she was a beloved member of Midway United Baptist Church, a place that she dearly loved.

She leaves to honor her memory— her children, Joyce Alford (Alvin) of Brownsville, Bradley Carroll of Leitchfield, Glendel Carroll (Lynn) of Clarkson and Patty Logsdon of Leitchfield; grandchildren, Candi, Connor, Landen, Raiden, Addison, Ryan, Amelia, Angie, Charity and Stacie; great-grandchildren, Logan, Lillian, Karley, Grant, Kolby, Kelton, Keegan and Kaleb; a sister, Vickie Vincent (Leslie), along with a host of friends and extended family members. Besides her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by a daughter, Elizabeth Lindsey; great grandson, Logan Richardson and siblings, Richard Browning and Dean Renfro.

The interment will be in Midway Church Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to: Midway Church Cemetery Fund, c/o Charles Langdon.
