Pam
Vladescu
Dec 10, 1958 — Jul 16, 2026
Pam Vladescu, age 67, of Glasgow, peacefully departed this life on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at her residence. A native of Timken, Kansas, she was born on December 10, 1958, to the late John and Angie Rein Lapka.
Pam was employed in the apparel department at Walmart, where she enjoyed serving customers and building friendships with those she met each day. More than anything, Pam will be remembered for her kind and generous spirit. She had a heart of gold and never hesitated to open both her heart and her home to anyone in need. Her compassion, selflessness, and willingness to help others left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Pam found beauty in the world around her and delighted in life's simple pleasures. She had a deep love for flowers and gardening, taking great pride in watching things grow and bloom. She also had a creative eye for repurposing old furniture, transforming forgotten pieces into something beautiful once again. Fascinated by astrology and feathers, she found joy and wonder in the unique and meaningful details of life. Above all, Pam treasured the time she spent with her beloved grandchildren, who were the light of her life, and her cherished fur babies, who brought her endless comfort, companionship, and happiness. Whether tending to her flowers, creating something new, playing a game on her phone, or simply enjoying the company of those she loved most, Pam had a special way of making every moment meaningful.
She leaves to cherish her memory-- her cherished daughter, Jessica Page (Andy) of Glasgow; her step-son, Marcris Vladescu of South Africa; grandchildren, Dawson, Graham and Hayes Page, Maddie and Nikita Vladescu, who brought immeasurable joy to her life; her siblings, John Lapka (Jo), Linda Lapka, Greg Lapka (Lori), and Susan Lapka; her devoted companion, Richard Meisenheimer, and fur babies, Lizzie and Tula. Along with her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Alex Vladescu, step-daughter, Didina Vladescu, and her beloved daughter, Shana Lapka, whose memory she carried in her heart every day.
