Maud Reed

Maud Reed, age 91 of Brownsville, passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2008 in Brownsville. She was born November 29, 1916 in Edmonson County to the late Garfield and Sarah Duvall Johnson. She was a retired cook for the Edmonson County School System and a member of Oak Grove United Baptist Church. She is survived by one son, N.E. Reed (Beverly) of Brownsville; one daughter, Barbara McDougal (Roy) of Brownsville; one brother, Don Johnson of Louisville; four grandchildren, Brad McDougal (Pat), Kelli Hurt Meredith (Greg), Michael Reed (Penny) and Tonya White (Jimmy) and seven great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Jessie Dean Johnson and one granddaughter, Sonya Lynette Reed. Services will be officiated by Bro. Jerry Patton and Bro. Vernon Johnson with burial in the Brownsville cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to Edmonson Health Care 813 South Main St. Brownsville, KY 42210.
