Loreda Hawks, age 81, of Wingfield, KY departed this life on Wednesday, August 3, 2016 in Bowling Green, KY. She was born on November 16, 1934 in Edmonson County, KY to the late Wilson and Sella Jane Lindsey Elmore. She was married to Norman L. Hawks, whom survives.

She was a homemaker and a member of  Wingfield Homemakers and Wingfield United Baptist Church.

Besides her husband she is survived by one son, Steve Hawks of Wingfield; two daughters, Katrena Cline (Larry) and Karen Briley (Bruce) both of Wingfield; an honorary son, Bradley Butler of Indiana; two brothers, Buel Elmore of Pine Grove and Gary Elmore (Betty) of Lawrenceburg;  one sister, Ola J. Simmons of Louisville; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

Interment will be in  Wingfield Church Cemetery.
