Imogene Stewart

Imogene Duvall Stewart, age 89, of Sunfish, departed this life on Monday, July 15, 2024 in New Port Richey, FL. The Millwood, KY native was born on November 27, 1934 to the late Stanley and Lee Johnson Duvall. Imogene, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, was married to her devoted husband of sixty-five years, Harold S. Stewart, until they were parted by his passing on October 22, 2018. 

Imogene was a former secretary for the Army Corps of Engineers, and was a faithful member of Shrewsbury General Baptist Church. Imogene was a wonderful example of a woman with great Christian faith. This was exemplified in her daily walk with her family and friends. 

She leaves to honor her memory— her children, Michael Harold Stewart (Lorraine) of New Port Richey, FL and Cinde Stewart Freeman (Guy) of Nashville, TN; grandchildren, Bob, Kristy, Bill, Chelsea, Heather, Denee, Sydney and Reshal; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Blaire, Brea, Nora, Brad, Meredith, Gracie and Claire.

 Interment will be in South Cemetery.
