Imogene Cook, age 84, of Cedar Springs, KY, departed this life on Monday, December 12, 2016 in Louisville, KY. The Hart County native was born June 17, 1932 to the late Ted Toms and Annie Mae Perkins Toms. She was married to the late Marvin “Sock” Cook.

Imogene was a seamstress for Kellwood Manufacturing. She was a member of Cedar Springs United Baptist Church.

She leaves to honor her memory, two daughters, Bette Evans Hoback (John) of Orange Beach, AL and Doris Shaffer (Carl) of Louisville, KY; one brother, Frankie Toms (Olive) of Park City, KY; three grandchildren, Kimberly Dearing (Brian), William Evans (Alison) and Dana York (Joshua Fields); nine great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.

Interment will be in Lambert Cemetery.
