Henry Jackson Vincent, age 85, of Follansbee, West Virginia, passed away peacefully on Thursday, June 18, 2026, at Brightwood Center in Follansbee, with his loving family by his side. Henry was born on December 19, 1940, in Bee Spring to the late Harold and Goldie (Whobrey) Vincent. A devoted husband, loving father, cherished brother, grandfather, and friend, Henry lived a life rooted in faith, family, and music.

Saved as a young boy, his faith remained the foundation of his life. He often shared his love for the Lord through music and testimony. Henry found great joy in picking up his guitar, gathering family and friends together, and singing songs of faith and encouragement. Known to many as "Hank," he shared his musical talents throughout the Ohio Valley and beyond with his band, Hank Vincent and the Stone Street Station, performing at countless venues, community events, and gatherings over the years. His music brought smiles to many and created lasting memories for all who knew him.

Henry enjoyed a successful career with the United States Government, managing Post Exchanges (PXs) on Army bases, then later retired as Store Manager from Heck's Department Store. He took pride in his work and the relationships he built throughout his career. Henry and his wife, Alicia, were faithful members of Calvary Baptist Church for many years. He was also a proud member of Wellsburg Masonic Lodge No. 2 A.F. & A.M. and the Shriners in Wheeling, West Virginia.

Above all else, Henry's greatest treasures were his faith and his family. He was a devoted husband who deeply loved his wife, Alicia, and a caring father and grandfather whose kindness, wisdom, and gentle spirit touched numerous generations. His legacy of faith, music, laughter, and unconditional love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

He leaves to honor his memory-- his loving wife, Alicia Vincent; his children, Jack Vincent and Jill Scanson (Chris) of Tacoma, WA and Derek Vincent (Julia) of New Brighton, PA; his stepsons, Russell Gerrard (Dana)of Wellsburg, WV and Duane Gerrard (Amy) of Follansbee, WV and Joey Adams of WV; his brothers, Ira Vincent (Michelle) of Brownsville and Dennis Vincent of Radcliff; 16 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; several beloved nieces and nephews, along with his faithful companion, his dog Ryder. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved son, Jayme Vincent; his granddaughter, Jaylene Ortiz; his stepdaughter, Sheila Tassey; and his great-grandson, Leland Vincent.

Though Henry's earthly journey has ended, those who loved him rejoice in the promise that he is now in his eternal home. His songs may be silent here, but they will surely continue in heaven, where he has found everlasting peace.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at South Union General Baptist Church. Interment will follow in South Union General Baptist Church Cemetery.
