Harry Davidson

Harry Glen Davidson, 93 of Park City, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2006 at T.J. Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow. He was born in Edmonson County on May 12, 1913 to the late James Andy and Cora Amellia Webb Davidson and married to Emma Catherine Davidson who survives. He was a deacon and song leader at Walnut Hill Missionary Baptist Church for sixty years and a charter member of the Park City Lions Club. He was the owner of Davidson Oil Co. and retired from Continental Phone Co. in Park City. He is also survived by one son, James LeRoy Davidson (Hazel) of Indianapolis; one daughter, Glynna Davidson Hogan (Cleo Jr.) of Park City; three grandchildren, Sheila Edmunds (Chris) of Glasgow, Ricky Lane Davidson (Nancee) of Ft. Myers and Wendy Mitford (Paul) of Indianapolis; six great grandchildren, Haley, Seth, Tyler and Luke Edmunds and Alex and Nick Mitford. He was alsopreceded in death by two brothers Jimmy and Frankie Davidson. Services will be officiated by Bro. Kelven Hawkins and Bro. Larry Lowe with burial in the Walnut Hill Cemetery.
