Glenda Sue Hankins

Glenda Sue Hankins, age 77, of Bowling Green KY departed this life on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at her residence. The Barren County native was born on September 8, 1947, to the late Howard and Elizabeth Reece Wells. She was married to her devoted husband of fifty-eight years, Jerry Hankins, who survives.

Glenda Sue was a meticulous housekeeper who found joy in being a homemaker and caring for her family. She was a faithful member of Woodland United Baptist Church, a place that she cherished dearly. She enjoyed singing in her church choir, working on crossword puzzles, watching U.K. basketball games, staying updated on social media, and tending to her beautiful flowers.

Besides her husband, Jerry, she leaves to honor her memory— her children, Tim Hankins (Sherry) and Christina Hankins, all of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Audrey McKinney (Brian), Monte Hankins (Ashton Anderson), Micheal Hankins (Kirsten), Kenley Hankins and Whitney Grahovic (Ervin); ten great grandchildren; her siblings, Wanda Bledsoe (Gurl) of Smiths Grove, Linda Reed of Elkton, Bro. Wayne Wells of Park City and David Wells (Darlene) of Glasgow, along with several nieces and nephews.

The interment will be in Woodland Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be made to: Woodland United Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
