Eddie Atkins, age 59, of Westmoreland, TN, departed this life on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at his residence. The Cave City, KY native was born on October 9, 1963 to William Atkins, Sr. of Corydon, IN and the late Mary Atkins Poole. He was married to his loving wife,  Emerlyn Atkins, who survives.

Eddie had worked for many years as a truck driver and entrepreneur, and was a member of Cedar Hill United Baptist Church.  He was a very talented musician, and truly enjoyed playing the piano and singing.

Besides his wife and dad, Emerlyn and William, he leaves to honor his memory— four children, Chris Atkins (Angie) of New Braunfels, TX, James Atkins (Kacee Breeden) of Mt. Juliet, TN, Mary Atkins and Joseph Atkins, both of Westmoreland, TN; a granddaughter, Linzy Atkins, and siblings, William Atkins, Jr., Charles Atkins (Debra) and Elizabeth Sanders (Steve), Along with several Nieces and Nephews

Interment will be in Campground Cemetery.
