Doris Davis

Doris Davis, age 85 of Brownsville, peacefully departed this life on Tuesday, September 19 at Genesis Edmonson Center.  The Edmonson County native was born on August 13, 1938 to the late Homer and Goldie Meredith Davis.

Doris worked with her hands as a seamstress at Kellwood Manufacturing.

She leaves to honor her memory— her nieces and nephews, Terry Davis (Kathy), Jeff Davis, Matt Davis (Jennifer), Wayne Davis (Jenny), Roy Davis (April), Rachel Davis and Ricky Davis all of Brownsville; several great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Bernie Davis, Roy Davis and Mafa Davis; niece, Sherry Davis and nephew, Gerry Davis.

Interment will be in Liberty  Cemetery.
