Dona Lou Vincent, age 79, of Bee Spring, departed this life on Sunday, December 7, 2025 at Grayson Nursing and Rehabilitation in Leitchfield. The Jefferson County native was born on June 23, 1946 to the late Ezra M. and Dorothy M. Vincent Garner.
Dona kept a small circle of loved ones, and her loyalty to them was strong. If she loved you, she loved you deeply. She was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star and cherished the friendships she made there. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing and crocheting, creating many special keepsakes.
She leaves to honor her memory— her children, Michelle Renee Whobrey (Carlon) of Bee Spring, Ezra Brian Deering (Amber) of Bee Spring, and Chasity Livingston Cook (Don) of Mammoth Cave; grandchildren, Jared Sherrard, Gage Johnson, Cody Deering, Andrew Taylor Whobrey, Tristan Deering, Brandon Deering, Nicholas Deering, Mason Johnson and Marlina Livingston; several great–grandchildren and siblings, John G. Garner (Sandy) of Morgantown and Bonnie Sue Laswell of Leitchfield. Besides her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Johnny Veto Johnson; sister and brother-in-law, Lavonna Kay and Don Lyvers, and brother-in-law, Thomas Russell Laswell.
The interment will be in Christian Home Church Cemetery.
