Danny Keith Tibbs

Danny Keith Tibbs, age 75 of Cave City, departed this life on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at his residence. The Barren County native was born on December 18, 1949, to the late Virginia Nell Perkins and Denny and Runell Tibbs. He was married to his devoted wife and best friend, Bonnie Adwell Tibbs.

Danny retired after a dedicated career as a truck driver for Ryder Trucking. In his retirement, he found joy in spending time with friends, sharing stories, and restoring antique cars, a passion he thoroughly enjoyed. Danny was also a member of the Shady Grove Church of Christ.

Besides his wife Bonnie, he leaves to honor his memory—his children, Allen England (Honey) and Shelley Tibbs Thomas, all of Cave City; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Michael Furlong (Robin) of Summer Shade and Deena Brown (Michael) of Martinsville and sisters-in-law, Teresa Furlong of Summer Shade, Jean Bale (David), Brenda Cline and Shirley Horton (Charles) all of Cave City. He was also preceded in death by his son, Joey Tibbs; siblings, Barry Furlong, Larry L. Crumpton and Sheila Youngblood; grandparents, R.A. “John” and Lucille Barrett and brother-in-law, Richard Youngblood.

The interment will be in Cave City Cemetery.
