Charles Blanton

Charles Lee Blanton, 76, of Goodletsville, TN, formerly of Glasgow, KY, passed away Monday, March 24, 2014 in Nashville, TN. The Edmonson County native was born  February 17, 1938 , the son of the late Aubrey "Ted" Blanton and the late Kathleen Cooke Blanton.    He was a retired risk manager for Shoney's Corp and a bus driver for Unity Program , a little league coach, loved working with children and was very active in the Glasgow community.  He was a member of Fairview United Baptist Church, Brownsville, KY.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years,  Betty Lindsey Blanton of Goodlettsville, TN; two  sons, Charles Ronald Blanton (Susan) of Hendersonville, TN and Lee Blanton of  Nashville, TN; three grandchildren, Charles David Blanton, Samuel Jacob Blanton and James Patrick Blanton.  He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Louise Lindsey.

Burial will be in the Fairview Church Cemetery, Brownsville, KY with Bro. Billy Vincent officiating.
