Bryan Owen

Bryan T. Owen, age 54 of Bee Spring, departed this life on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at The Medical Center at Bowling Green.  The Belleville, Illinois native was born on August 4, 1969 to the Linda Owen and Bill Owen, whom survive.  

Bryan served our nation in the U.S. Army.  He worked as an insurance claims adjuster for UniGroup, and was a member of Center Pointe Church.  Bryan had a heart of gold, and gained the greatest pleasures by giving to those in need, schools and charities such as St. Jude Children’s Hospital, operation food search and the local senior food pantry.  

Besides his parents, Linda and Bill, he leaves to honor his memory— his siblings, Kimberlee Calvert (Ron) of Collinsville, IL and Bill Owen (Marcia) of Trenton, IL; children, Megan Simmons of Brownsville, Devin Simmons of Whitley City and Alston Skaggs (Olivia) of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Sophie Sanders, Anniston, Dreagon and Jaxon Simmons and Lincoln Skaggs; his niece and nephew, Rachael Calvert and Tyler Calvert, and caregivers that were like family to him, Jessica Meredith and Autumn Poston.  

Interment will be on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 1 PM in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, 2900 Sheridan Road, St. Louis, MO 63125.
