Bro. Greg Gore
1962-2021
Bro. Greg Gore, age 59, of Cave City, passed away on Friday, January 28, 2022 at The Medical Center at Caverna. The Barren County native was born on March 18, 1962 to the late Donald Wayne and Geneva Ann Laird Gore. He was married to Shelley Cooper Gore, who survives.
Greg worked as a travel agent and owner of Gore’s Getaways. He also helped his family run Ms. Green River Boat Tours and was a former bus driver for the Hart County School System. Greg graduated from Caverna High School in 1980. He served his country in the United States Navy and was a member of Little Hope Missionary Baptist Church.
Besides his wife, he leaves to honor his memory— his sister, Donessa Gore Chinn (Jason) of Livermore, KY; a nephew, Joey Cowles; a niece, Brianna Gray (Jordan); brother-in-law, David Cowles and mother-in-law, Linda Cooper.
Interment will be in Cave City Cemetery.
