IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Beverly Jean
Ward
May 13, 1938 – February 6, 2026
Beverly Jean Ward, age 87, of Cave City, peacefully departed this life on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Signature HealthCare of Hart County. The Sodus, Michigan native was born on May 13, 1938 to the late John A. and Eleanor Montgomery Stump. She was married to her devoted husband, the late Clarence Ward.
Beverly worked diligently as a homemaker, lovingly caring for her family and ensuring their needs were always met. She took great pride in creating a warm and welcoming home filled with comfort and love. In her quiet moments, Beverly found joy in reading, playing cards, sewing, and crocheting—activities that reflected her patience, creativity, and gentle spirit. She also delighted in the excitement of watching NASCAR, especially cheering on her favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt, and enjoyed the thrill and entertainment of professional wrestling, which always brought a smile to her face.
She leaves to honor her memory— her cherished daughter, Pam Ward Briley (Kenneth) of Cave City; two grandchildren, Doug Ward (Wendy) of Woodbridge, VA and Cassidy Ward of Champaign, IL; a sister, Marilyn Lippert of Niles, MI, along with several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Jeff Ward and sister, Pat Porter.
Memorial contributions may be made to: Arthritis Foundation, 2908 Brownsboro Rd., Louisville, KY 40206.
