England

Visitation
Patton Funeral Home - Cave City Chapel
3:00 - 7:00 pm (Central time)
Allen “Rooster” England, age 55 of Cave City, peacefully departed this life at his residence on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. The Barren County native was born on December 7, 1970 to Bonnie Adwell Tibbs and the late David Allen England. He was married to his loving wife, Honey, who survives.
Allen was a gifted and talented jack of all trades, known for his strong work ethic and ability to master anything he set his mind to. Most recently, he served as a shop manager for Dollar General and previously worked as a diesel mechanic, skills that reflected both his dedication and mechanical abilities. Beyond work, Allen was a wonderful cook who took great pride in preparing meals, especially those made with fresh vegetables from his own garden, which he lovingly tended throughout the seasons.
In his leisure time, he loved riding his motorcycle through the countryside, taking in the open road, and proudly showing his beloved Mustang at shows, or to anyone who would admire it. Above all else, Allen’s greatest joy came from time spent surrounded by his grandchildren, whose laughter and presence meant more to him than anything else.
Besides his wife and mother, Honey and Bonnie, he leaves to honor his memory— his daughters, Lee Anna Cross (Mitch) of Louisville and Carrisa England (Christine) of Millhall, PA and grandchildren, Ryder, Ayden, Tucker, Marlee, Bryer, Juniper, Hustle and Hazien. The family would like to extend their appreciation to his special cousin, devoted caretakers and dear friends, Gail Jaggers, APRN (Larry), Joyce Ann Parsley (Clifton), Amanda Laird (John Dee), and Larry Minor, who was a cherished father figure in Allen’s life. He was also preceded in death by his step-father, Danny Tibbs.
Memorial contributions may be made to: American Cancer Society, 1504 College Way #110, Lexington, KY 40502 or Ronald McDonald House Charities, 550 S. 1st St, Louisville, KY 40202.
