Wynelia Cassady, age 89, of Cedar Springs, KY, departed this life on Thursday, October 20, 2016 in Bowling Green, KY.  She was the daughter of the late Homer Parker and Cherry Crump Davis and was married to the late Phillip Cassady.

She was a retired cook for Edmonson County High School and was a member of New Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by one daughter, Cherry Tarter (Charlie) of Cedar Springs; one grandson, Brian Tarter of Cedar Springs; two great grandchildren, Cassie Tarter and Connor Tarter both of Cedar Springs; two brothers, Sammy Parker (Jewell) of Louisville and Robert Davis of Brownsville and four sisters, Georgia Johnson of Smiths Grove, Navajo Vincent (Kenneth) of Oakland, Catherine Vincent of Sweeden and Linda Renfrow of Brownsville.  She was also preceded in death by two sons, Ronald and Justin Cassady.

Interment will be in Smiths Grove Cemetery.
