1936 - 2015

Nellie Wilson,  78, of  Wingfield, KY, departed this life on Friday, July 3, 2015, at Edmonson Health Care in Brownsville. The Monroe County native was born on  July 7, 1936 to the late Diver Clarence and Florence Mae Creek and was married to the late Rev. Monroe Wilson.

She was a secretary for Sanders Radiator and was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church.

She is survived by one son,  Steve Wilson (Judy) of Wingfield, KY; four daughters, Debbie Johnson of Scottsville, Redea Simmons (Roy “Noots”) of Wingfield, KY, Joy Miller (Tommy) of Bowling Green, KY and Kim Sanders (Kerry) of Lincoln, KY; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and three great—great grandchildren. She was

preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters.

Interment will be in Pleasant Grove Church Cemetery with Bro. Bobby Joe Meredith

officiating.
