Julia “Judy” Wood, age 53, of Brownsville passed away on August 10, 2015 at her residence. The Brownsville native was born on March 22, 1962 to the late Levy G. Wood and late Havanah Carlene Ashley Wood. She was a member of Pleasant Union United Baptist Church and a registered nurse.

Judy is survived by two brothers, Steve Wood (Vicki) of Chalybeate and Barry Wood (Suzy) of Brownsville; two sisters, Sherry Carol Embry (Ron) of Trenton, KY and Theresa Borchelt (Kevin) of Evansville, IN and several nephews and nieces.

Interment will be in the Pleasant Union Church Cemetery. Bro. Jerry Patton and Bro. Richard Minton will be officiating the services.
