Faye Hinson, age 84, of  Mammoth Cave, KY passed away Friday, February 24, 2017 in Bowling Green, KY.  She was born on  June 10, 1932 in  McHenry, KY to the late  Edward Hillard and Mercedes Lewis Hillard and was the wife of  the late Grady Alvin Hinson .

Faye was a homemaker and a member of  the Eastern Star and Cove Hollow United Baptist Church.

She leaves to honor her memory two daughters, Pamela Peterman of Ft. Walton Beach, FL and Jeannie Slaughter (Charlie) of Clarksville, IN; one step son, Grady Byrd (Esther) of Lexington, SC; one sister, Barbara Jaggers (Stoy) of Mammoth Cave, KY; one brother, Edward Jerry Hillard (Brenda) of Bardstown, KY;  six grandchildren, Jon Singleton, Lara Bell, David Danner, Chuck Slaughter, Abby Ogden and Josh Slaughter; four great grandchildren, Chelsea Miller, Savannah Miller, Lily Singleton and Liam Danner; two great-great grandchildren, Cherish Brown and Carina Brown.   She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Patricia Higgs and Sharon Cooper.

Interment will be in Cove Hollow Cemetery.

Contributions may be made to the American Kidney Association.
