Edward “Ed” Arterburn, age 94 of Park City, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green. The Park City native was born August 14, 1921 to the late Johnnie P. Arterburn and Matra Mae Sartain
Arterburn. For 69 years he was married to Cecelia Furlong Arterburn, who survives.

He was a farmer and a retired rural letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. He was a World War II Army veteran, belonged to the Park City Masonic Lodge #934 F&AM and a member of Park City United Methodist Church.

Besides his wife he is survived by two daughters, Gail Broady (Gary) of Franklin, KY, Kim Burks (Teddy) of Park City, KY; three grandchildren, Beth Broady of Philadelphia, PA, Tyler Burks of Park City, KY, Megan Burks of Park City, KY and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three brothers and five sisters.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Park City Volunteer Fire Department; 41 Mammoth Cave St. Park City, KY, 42160 or to a charity dear to your heart.

Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.
