Carol Elmore, age 73, of Pine Grove, KY, departed this life on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at her residence. The Louisville native was born on August 7, 1942 to the late James Wilton Denham and Mary Thomas Ray. She was married to Buel Elmore, who survives.

She was an assembly line worker at Holley Carburetors and was a member of Beaver Dam Chapel United Baptist Church.

Besides her husband she is survived by, one son, Marty Elmore (Danita) of Chalybeate, KY; three daughters, Leveda Sego (Barry) of Shepherdsville, KY, Lerica Highbaugh (Terry) of Mammoth Cave, KY, Carmon Brooks-Daugherty (Jeff) of Glasgow, KY; two brothers, Walton Denham (Wanda) of Plano, KY, Wade Denham (Debbie) of Pig, KY; brother-in-law, Deward Clark; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren; she is preceded in death by one sister Catherine Clark.
